About the workshop

SHEdoko workshop: Women who care

This is a workshop aimed at Women who take on a caring role within their family or close friendship group.

We will meet other carers and have an opportunity to talk about our different caring roles. We will identify common issues within those roles and explore our thoughts and feelings. We will work toward defining an issue in line with our own values and principles. We will talk about the family dynamics that impact our role as a carer and develop coping strategies such as mindfulness exercises and self-care opportunities.

We will aim to develop a more helpful mindset to see us through the challenging times.

The workshop will run via zoom for approximately 1 hour

Additional support is available for individuals who require assistance in working through their individual circumstances.

Further carer workshops can be organised for those interested in continuing this journey.

*Note: this event is at 1PM Sydney time
